Don’t worry, we knocked out beautiful portraits for the wall as well. It just took one of my favorite strategies for getting less-than-interested kiddos to smile...DO NOT SMILE...you have to be ridiculously serious for this one. Stern faces, finger-pointing, the whole works.
Mom told me later she couldn’t believe how smoothly it had gone and there was even an admission of it being fun. Mission complete.
